Handcrafted and Original Childrens Stools and Toyboxes 

Mattesdon Cottage crafts is a small, rural business providing handcrafted, bespoke items in the highest quality sycamore.  Using the ancient art of pyrography, your ideas and designs are burned onto the items you request. 

Although stools and toyboxes are our main products, other bespoke items are available on request.  Past commissions have included  bookends, commemorative plaques and house signs.  A range of these can be seen in the Galleries although this is by no means extensive and commissions are more than welcome. 

All items are crafted to the highest standards and are designed and completed with the greatest of care, attention and love.

 Each piece is handcrafted and so no two pieces are exactly the same.  Items are made to order so anything you are interested in can be made to your specific requirements.
